Espresso Martini by Tess Posthumus


45 ml vodka

30 ml freshly brewed espresso

15 ml coffee liqueur

10 ml simple syrup






Three coffee beans

  1. Pour the vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur and simple syrup in a shaker tin.
  2. Fill the shaker tin with ice-cubes and shake well.
  3. Fine-strain the cocktail into the Martini glass.
  4. Garnish with three coffee beans.

If you shake hard enough and use fresh espresso this cocktail will form delicious foam layer, upon which the three coffee beans will float. Do you have a sweet tooth? Try replacing the simple syrup with vanilla syrup.
